Q:  "What kind of gear do you buy?"

A:  We buy all kinds of gear, but PLEASE CALL US FIRST!  We don't want you going to the trouble of packing up your gear and bringing it to us if it's not something we want to buy. We're most interested in buying gear that is currently in season, that is gently used, clean and ready for the next person to enjoy.  (Baseball gear, football gear, cleats, soccer, La Crosse, snowboards, skis, weights, boxing gloves, etc.  We do not buy large exercise items like treadmills, eliptical machines, etc. - our store is too small.)

 

Q:  "How much can I expect to receive for my gently used sports gear?"

​A:  We pay about 1/3 of what we expect to sell the gear for in our store.

 

Q:  "When do you buy gear?:

A:  We buy your gear seasonally.  After you speak to us, you may drop your items off any time we are open.  If we decide to buy your gear, we will pay you for it the following Saturday after you drop it off.  This gives us a chance to go through your gear and price it out.

Q:  "Does Score accept consignment items?"

A:  Yes, we do.  We will consign your item(s) at the price you set.  We will advertise your

item(s) on Craigslist and on our Facebook page and maybe even our website.  Your item(s) is displayed in our store for potential buyers to see.  We keep 50% of the sales price.  You can bring in the items you want to consign at any time.  No appointment necessary.  It's a good idea though to call first, just to make sure that it is something we have room for in our store.

Q:  "Do you provide store credit for items sold to Score?"

A:  Nope we like to keep it simple.  We will give you cash or check for you items and then you can buy things in the store if you like using your cash, credit or personal check!
